Oh Mandy.... I mean Barry.
Barry Manilow and Stiletto Productions just finished a promotional animation piece highlighting all the best albums Mr. Manilow has produced this far. Mr. Manilow is making the rounds on the talk show circuit like Ellen Degeneres, The View, Late Night with Letterman, and one of our favorites, The Colbert Report. Sleeping Dogs Lie - The Movie
Bobcat Goldthwait brings us a new film from the director's chair. He color corrected and finished at Video Box Studios. For those of us in Los Angeles, you can catch his film now at Sunset Laemmle 5 at the corner of Sunset and Cresent Heights. Sleeping Dogs Lie is an Official Slection of Sundance Film Fest 2006 and of Toronto International Film Fest 2006 Amy is a seemingly normal young girl, adored by her parents and golden-boy fiancé. Her future looks bright until her fiancé suggests they tell each other their darkest secrets... things they have never told anyone. When Amy finally relents and reveals her secret, everything falls apart. Bobcat Goldthwait has written and directed a story that adeptly explores honesty, family, forgiveness, and courage. By frankly probing our relationships and idealization of the absolute virtues of honesty, Sleeping Dogs Lie is a funny and perceptive dark comedy. Sure to be one of the most talked about films of the year, this is independent filmmaking at its best: raw, original, and edifying. Fueled by a standout lead performance by Melinda Page Hamilton, well-drawn characters and Goldthwait's very special sensibilities, this sparkling comedy proves that it doesn't take money to make a film that everyon will want to see. VBS Murder Rampage
E Entertainment is now airing it's 2 hour special "20 Most Horrifying Hollywood Murders". Upcoming Episodes are showing October 26 @ 8 P.M. E /5 P and October 27 @ 10 A.M. E/ 7 P E decided to use Video Box Studios as it's design house after the glowing reviews of 7 Deadly Hollywood Sins. The studio created the entire graphics package for the higly regarded show. The audio for the title open was also created and mixed at the studio. The Studio is handling a number of the networks other upcoming shows.
