Video Box Studios Pours a Good Cola.
Grey World Wide - taps Video Box Studios to produce and post produce the kick-off campaign for Cola Turka's beautiful new branding from Turkish snack and beverage company Ulker. Also it was an oppurtunity for the company to show how mouth-watering and delicious their drinks can be.
Ulker needed 2 of their Softdrinks ready for air. Cola Turka and Camlica (pronounced chamlicha) were the choices. Cola Turka is the number one soft drink in Turkey and surrounding areas of the globe. The new brand design was the center of attention.
The first spot out the door was "Waterfall". In this a small wet drop travels down the can revealing the new logo. Once it reaches the rim it drips off and joins the cola already pouring into the glass. The Cola is rich and fizzy. It then reaches the ice of a waiting glass and bubbles with intense effervescence. As the ice floats to the top it shows the new logo through the glass.
The second spot was "Thirsty". A cap from a 2.5 liter bottle blows off toward camera revealing extremely active cola bubbling in the mouth. Various shots of super high speed film captures cola in a slow motion glug. Close ups of Ice interacting with the cola and drips of condensation rolling down the edge of the glass bring us to the end and reveal the product surrounded by a family of full glasses of tasty beverage.
The Third Spot was "Chill out". Camlica is Ulkers Lemon-Lime concoction. In this spot the bottle is nestled in an ice cave. A drop of water from an overhead icicle aggitates the soda to blow the cap and pour its content into a near by glass. Close-ups of the soda wets the palette. We then reveal the beverage proudly resting next to the glass.
VBS is scheduled to continue work with Grey Through out the next couple months.

VBS Creates "Deadly" Show open.

Hollywood California, where jealousy lurkes on every backlot. Rage erupts at the drop of a name. Sex is served raw like sushi, and money is the only thing that matters. This seems to be the case, or at least that is what E Entertainment's Celebrity Spoof Mocumentary "7 Deadly Hollywood Sins" claims.
Producers Greg Heller and John Dorsey knock heads in this hilarious but "dark" spoof on the lives of celebrities. And just when you thought these tabloid shows couldn't get any better.
Before Heller and Dorsey tapped the studio to take care of their show, Heller had done work with VBS in the past on a CMT pilot for Shooter Jennings, a sensational new country star and the son of Waylan Jennings.
Heller always talked fondly of putting that pilot together with the studio. So in order to obtain a little of the old magic he decided to make VBS the creative team to kick it off.
What the show called for was a dark overtone that made you think you were about to watch something horrifying yet spill it so much over the top that it couldn't be anything but funny.
