The Avid Symphony NITRIS
Our newest premier Color Correction and Online bay is the Symphony NITIRS bay. Avid Symphony Nitris systems combine the legendary elegance of the Symphony finishing toolset, real-time primary and secondary color correction, and the real-time uncompressed HD and SD performance of Avid Nitris DNA hardware. Together, they bring the power and productivity of Avid Total Conform and Universal Mastering to deadline-intensive HD and SD postproduction projects. The incredible media processing power of Avid Nitris hardware delivers multiple simultaneous streams of 10-bit uncompressed HD and SD video with a host of real time effects, so clients see results right away The space that was once home to GRFX and VFX is now more streamlined and better utilized as a one system room. GRFX and VFX Gets Upgrade + A Killer View The Graphics and Visual Effects department of Video Box Studios has just been upgraded in terms of size. This gives us much more space in order to accomodate more stations when needed for very demanding shows. A few commercials in the pipeline are about to make the move a wise one. Also the move has given us the oppurtunity to create a producers workstation with a viewing monitor over our central main computer. Now anyone can watch their work in progress on a large screen while laying on the couch. Now with one of the largest windows in the studio overlooking La Cienega Blvd. GRFX/VFX has become one of the premier bays in our studio. May 8, 2006
Audio Mixing Bays Get Upgrade
Video Box has upgraded it's Audio Bays to accomodate its faithful clientele. In the 5.1 surround bay the client will be smack dab in the middle of the room to give the ultimate experience in his or her mix. Imagine a dinosaur stepping on a car, you want to feel the earth shake. Or if a tidal wave were swelling right at you, you want to feel all you can with out having to get wet. This is the reality for the new 5.1 surround bay. With the added floating wooden floor and the recessed lighting peering from the acoustical ceiling tiles, the bay becomes an enhanced theater. Our Voice Over Bay has also been enhanced to accomodate extremely crystal clear V.O. We already have the best V.O. in the business, now it's even better. Nothing makes a Los Angeles post production experience quite like having the right equiptment for every single thing a show might need. And it doesn't just end at the equiptment. We are always going to make sure that the best operators are stationed.
