The HD Editing and Finishing Video Box Studios, Post Production Los Angeles, has made the leap in getting the most valuable solution to High Definition since sliced bread. Earlier Last year Avid began selling it's HD Avid Symphony Nitris. This is the big boy of HD editing. Avid Symphony Nitris systems combine the legendary elegance of the Symphony finishing toolset, real-time primary and secondary color correction, and the real-time uncompressed HD and SD performance of Avid Nitris® DNA hardware. Together, they bring the power and productivity of Avid Total Conform and Universal Mastering to deadline-intensive HD and SD postproduction projects. Maggie Gyllenhaal, the sister of oscar nominated Jake Gyllenhaal, came in the other day to read for a commercial. Maggie has starred in many fantastic films. Such films are Sherrybaby, Mona Lisa Smile, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Adaptation, Secretary, and Donnie Darko. February 13, 2006
A&E Finds GOD at Video Box Studios
Sharon Mastropietro, post-supervisor extraordinaire, finishes A&E's "God or the Girl" at Video Box. The entire package was required to get the station's anticipated five-part documentary that looks at four young men who must decide whether to find a woman and settle down or go celibate, enroll in the seminary and become Catholic priests. Along with the color corrected show output, the show's graphic package, audio mixed content and music, and visual effects were all produced in house. Executive Producers on this show are Darryl Silver and Mark Wolper. Co-Executive Producer is Brian Catalina. The production company goes by Earth Angel Productions. The Show is scheduled to be released in March 2006. February 13, 2006

Currently we are looking to fill our database with talent that ranges from offline editor, online color corrector, audio mixer and sound design, 2D and 3D Designers, VFX compositors and intern possibilities. The software that we use is Final Cut Pro HD, Avid meridian, symphony, and nitris, Pro Tools, After Effects, Shake, and Cinema 4D (3d app).
